15/5/10 – London, UK. Dr Evan Harris addressing the third major ‘Take Back Parliament’ demonstration in support of a proportional electoral system for the United Kingdom’s lower parliamentary house. The newly formed coalition government had agreed on a referendum to change to the ‘alternate vote’ electoral system, which protesters and organisers maintained fell short of what new coalition members the Liberal Democrats had long campaigned for.
