What ab workouts are good for someone with a bad back?

Question by Melody: What ab workouts are good for someone with a bad back?
I have both muscular and skeletal problems with my back and I don’t want to make it worse. Are there good ab workouts that won’t aggravate the problem? As a side note, what body shape is 41-29-43?

any ab workout is good… so long as yuo dont over do it… if you feel your going to start to cry because your hurting… that may be a good time to stop…

If you already have those issues only a physician can give you proper advice. Taking advice from anyone else WILL hurt you.

I’ve heard it said that the best ab workout is walking. Lengthy and vigorous walks work the lower abs especially, surprising as that may be. I personally walk a lot, and get many compliments on my flat stomach. Now whether that comes from walking or not, I can’t say for sure, but walking would be easy on your back, especially when compared with crunches etc. Hope this helps :)
